Performance

I am lucky to have the support and guidance of many generous people beyond those directly involved with my official trade team. These friends and mentors have shaped my development as an athlete and person, and I am very grateful to them.

Linda Jackson: My coach, mentor, counselor, and great friend, Linda is my rock. She is not only one of the most accomplished North American cyclists, but also the director, founder and president of Team TIBCO Cycling. She continually challenges me to expect great things of myself and to put in the work to make those expectations reality. She knows exactly when I need a hug, or when I need a little kick in the pants. She keeps me sane and is a continual source of inspiration. Plus, I love hearing her stories about racing, because they usually start out with "This one time on l'Alpe D'Huez..." To learn more about Linda's coaching services, check out To The Top.

Curtis Cramblett: A licensed Physical Therapist, Expert Level Cycling Coach (USCF, USA Cycling), Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach, and bike-fitting guru, Curtis has been instrumental in helping me maximize my power on the bike. His assistance was crucial in my recovery and rehabilitation after breaking my hand in 2006, and he has continued to help me fine-tune my bike fits and my technique through identifying and addressing muscle weakness and imbalance. Kevin Shanahan: Kevin was my massage therapist and a good friend. He passed away in November 2007, after a valiant three year battle against cancer. The news was devastating, but his contagiously playful and fiery spirit lives on in all of those whose lives he touched. He was a constant reminder of how important it is to make the world better, however you can in whatever you do. Reading stories from those whose lives he affected only affirms for me how much good one person can do in this world. Thank you, Kevin.
